Helen Skelton
Congratulations to Helen Skelton who has successfully completed her expedition to the South Pole, travelling by ski, kite-ski and bike for Sport Relief. Helen finally reached the finish line after 18 gruelling days in temperatures as low as 48 degrees Celsius, setting a brand new Guinness World Record in the process for the fastest 100km by kite-ski.

Forty-five BBC stations will simultaneously broadcast their own edition of Your Desert Island Discs in a unique moment for BBC radio.
